OptiLED – the house brand of Light Engine was showcasing at the Higher Education Bureau’s (Branch of logistics facilities management) exhibition in the Dongguang International Convention Exhibition Centre (Guangdong province), featuring sustainable Eco Environment within school areas in which implementation of LED lighting system and system control were shown.

The Family Council is an advisory body to the Government. It provides a high-level platform for examining family-related policies and promoting a culture of loving families in the community.
Light Engine encourages employees to balance their work and family lives, thereby bringing benefits to employer and employees, resulting in improved morale, enhanced working relationships and reduced staff turnover. This year, we have been awarded the “Family-Friendly Employer” by Family Council, which recognizes our achievement in demonstrating a family-friendly spirit, promoting family core values and the importance of family culture.
Light Engine takes sustainable development and environmental protection as our indispensable duty, so we became a Sliver Member of Hong Kong WWF and supported their works since 2008.
The Corporate Membership Programme (CMP) is a versatile platform that helps businesses get actively involved in both global and local conservation efforts. As one of the members of WWF, Light Engine proactively participate the eco-related activities for building up a better living environment for our next generation in the coming future.

In the past year, Light Engine actively involved and participated in different activities for achieving the UNDMDG (United Nations Millennium Development Goals). We have been recognized as the “Better World Company” by Junior Chamber International Hong Kong for two years in a row, which confirms our contribution in fulfilling the eight goals of UNMDG of eradicating extreme poverty, universal education, gender equality, child and maternal health, combat diseases, environmental sustainability and global partnership.
The award not only reaffirms our efforts, but also encourages us to continuously give back to the society and accomplish our corporate social responsibility.
Having extensive experience in LED industry, Light Engine enables people to express their conscience to save the planet by lowering carbon emission by using LED products, in which aligns with Earth Hour’s ultimate goal – Go Low Carbon!
Organized by WWF, Earth Hour has grown into a global movement with hundreds of millions of people from more than 4,500 cities and towns in 128 countries across every continent switching off their lights for Earth Hour 2010, creating history as the world’s greatest ever environmental action.
Earth Hour will be held on 26th March, 2011 at 8:30pm. As a member of WWF, Light Engine commits to participate the event and we strongly encourage you to join hand with us to save our earth together.
This is the fourth year for Light Engine to be awarded the Caring Company Logo 2007/11 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The award recognizes our achievement in the areas of Caring for the Community, Employee and the Environment.

Light Engine has been awarded the Green Medal of Hang Seng - Pearl River Delta Environmental Awards 2009/10. The Awards, jointly launched by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and Hang Seng Bank, aim to encourage manufacturing companies in the PRD region to continually enhance their environmental performance by recognizing and rewarding their achievements.
Being the eco-advocator, Light Engine is dedicated to promoting a greener environment from the products produced to manufacturing process to wastage management.
The award recognized our effort in the environment protection. We will continue with our effort to create a greener and cleaner environment.

The “HSBC Living Business Award – Green Achievement Award” is to reward company’s commitment to environment protection base on the following criteria: reduction of air, water, and noise pollution; waste management and indoor air quality control; conservation of resources such as energy, water and materials; environmental training for employees; and the company’s overall environmental management approach.

Light Engine has been awarded the “Better World Company” logo by the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong, recognizing our supportive yet active involvement in the UNDMDG (United Nations Millennium Development Goals) in the past 12 months.
We realized the importance of the improvement of quality of life to our employees and families and have taken the initiative to organize community service activities in order to join forces in building a better society.
