The 1980’s was a spectacular decade for LED technological breakthrough – the emergence of white light. White LED light, as a luminous source, was then started applying for every day purposes.
LED lighting is predicted to supersede conventional light bulbs when its luminous efficacy reaches 100 lumen / watt. With continuous technological advancements and diminishing production costs, LED lighting solutions will soon predominate over conventional light bulbs in the mass market.
